Hope he's one with the Force now... and that the movie was all he wanted it to be. They certainly cut it close, but it's great Disney and Abrams made it happen for the guy.

Glad he got to see the movie before passing.
We were going out of town on the 18th, but my wife got a new job. We already have tickets the 17th. Last night I checked Alamo and found a single 8 AM 3D ticket for the 18th. Not a big 3D watcher, but I will make an exception here. Everything else was sold out. I briefly considered a LieMax, but no reserved seating pushed me back to Alamo.

The one huge plus about reserved seating. You don't have to wait in line. I got my tickets for an early Saturday showing at the Lakeline Drafthouse. Just happy I got tickets and don't have to wait since their lobby is small as hell.

As as it is that he passed(may he R.I.P.) it does bring a to my face that this man got his dying wish and that Disney, etc. was able to make it happen. Too many people with terminal issues or other hindrances in life like his do not get to have that one final thing happen for them that in such bad times could bring them happiness one last time before passing.

Poor guy. RIP
Glad he got to see the movie before he passed. Just terrible seeing any young and vibrant person's life cut short like that.

So in other words... it's not like Kenobi's stance. It's just hands up w/ a lightsaber pointing forward.

An Obi-Wan solo movie with Ewan McGregor reprising the role would be the best thing to come out of this buyout of Lucasfilm.

A friend of mine is a Star Wars fan and has attempted to school me on the seemingly endless number of stances and techniques of lightsaber-ing. I always thought it was up to the fight choreographer and that all that stuff came out in EU, but I haven't kept up much since the Great Star Wars Divorce of 1997.
