I wonder if the "same eyes in different people" line could be a reference to color. It's probably more of a spiritual thing, but it would make sense if she's Leia's daughter. However, the Japanese trailer gives the impression Rey already knows her family and has been waiting for them - yet she appears to meet Han for the first time in this movie. At this point, I don't really care to know who the hell she is until I'm sitting in the theater.

I wonder if these are clues as to how Maz Kanata figures in the universe:
- use of Yoda's theme
- the line "I've lived long enough"
- use of Yoda's theme
- the line "I've lived long enough"

That's the big rumor/spoiler that has been going around for a long time, and everyone seems to know it.
If something like that happens, how in the fuck did they allow that to be leaked? That's a pretty big deal for one of the biggest movies of the century. I'm almost expecting it to happen at this point.

I have to say after watching all of the teasers/trailers/TV spots I still don't know much about the movie. I have an idea about the first act on Jakku (JJ & KK have actually talked about that), but the random images haven't spoiled much. I don't know who are the possible kids of Han, Leia, Luke or even Lando (although I have an idea), so its been the best of both worlds. I've been spoiled by a load of images from the movie, but still will walk in December 18th not knowing much about the movie.
Can't wait!

CD? I don't even need to read further.
LOL...okay I did actually go back and read it and it's so bad it's funny.

^ Good interview. Thanks for posting.
It's nice to know he realized this. Even though Super 8 got decent reviews, the final product was less than satisfying... and Into Darkness feels more flawed every time I watch it. Hopefully his confidence in the TFA story is justified and genuine.

I'm really liking the music from the trailers thus far so I decided to pre-order the soundtrack last night. It isn't even scheduled to come out until the day the film releases so they're really trying to keep things under wraps apparently.

Why are you posting videos of the Battlefront video game here? Sure, they're Star Wars, but they belong more in the Battlefront thread in Video Game Talk.
