But in the OT, it's all dark side, dark side, dark side...
I realize how the jedi got their asses handed to them in the prequels, but the dark side wasn't something they seemed to concern themselves with much.

And then the prequels come along and the big bad dark side isn't even a concern... only twenty jedi have ever left the order, they think the Sith are long extinct, nobody believes it's even possible for a jefi like Dooku to go the dark side, etc.
But in the OT, it's all dark side, dark side, dark side...

The dark side was a concern to the Jedi in the prequels. They didn't want Anakin trained initially because they were worried he might fall to the dark side easily.
It's just the Jedi had fallen too far into complacency. That is understandable since they thought all the Sith died off 1,000 years ago. None of the Jedi alive in the prequels would have been alive back in the ancient Sith era. Not even Yoda would have been born yet. So the Sith just became legends and myths passed down from generation to generation. So it's understandable if they didn't take it as seriously since they had never personally dealt with any Sith threat in a millennium.
Yoda and Mace Windu realized that in the end that they had become too complacent. They realized their mistake, but it was too late. That also leads to Yoda taking it more seriously in the OT since he has learned from that mistake.

In other news: Disney needs to give this guy a private screening, posthaste.

And there was dialog in that same film where, I believe, Obi-Wan and Yoda were incredulous that Dooku could have turned.

IIRC, JJ Abrams allowed a hard core Star Trek fan to see the movie a bit early when he was dying, so I would assume something like that may happen here.

Lucasfilm and Disney have released a series of new character posters for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Fisher must have insisted on only showing her "good" side. The only one not looking straight on.

At little surprised no poster of Oscar Isaac, he's the main draw among the new cast members. Most people don't know who Adam Driver is, granted if he's got the mask on, who cares.

Very odd again given his track record in the last 3 years or so again vs the rest of the cast. I guess we will find out soon enough...

Is he the actor who is the most buzzed/critically lauded in the industry right now who is in the cast? Absolutely. That said, nothing in the spoilers or trailer has led me to believe he will get more screen time or be more focused on then Rey, Finn or even Kylo. He is either going to be a supporting actor or they are doing this intentionally (i.e. Same reason with Luke).

Harrison Ford was raving about the new Big 4 when he was on Jimmy Kimmel the other night.
He said people will not be disappointed in this film, assuming he wasn't just blowing smoke there. Ford has never struck me as someone who does that.

Was he lethargic sounding when talking? I may check the interview out if he's actually excited.

He was a bit better when talking about the new Star Wars. He was obviously nervous like he always is during interviews. But I enjoyed it. It was 2 segments.
