I got 4 reserved seats for the 17th @ Irvine IMAX 3D which is at least the best IMAX around...I will see it in a big 2D screen later...

I'd see this at the Mann's Chinese IMAX but they don't get Disney films because they're across the street from the El Capitan. I'd love to see this on the IMAX laser system.

I'm going to guess that the theatres and times are listed but they haven't put them up for sale yet. I wouldn't trust anything with all theatres and ticket sites crashing now.

Don't believe the hype. Remember when dorks lined up for months to see The Phantom Menace? I bought tickets to the midnight screening at a nearby multiplex around 5:00 pm the day of the screening. This was in Los Angeles.

Chinese IMAX is showing it and it sold out pretty fucking fast. 200am and 500am showing are all sold out too. I think the next available showings are on Sunday.

Of course not. It wasn't really shot on IMAX either. But the studios sure want you to buy up those 3D and IMAX tickets at premium mark-up.

Waaaaah? Wow, I think that's the first Disney released film to be shown in the Mann's Chinese in years. None of the Marvel films have been shown there to my knowledge.

I'll catch a 2D showing at a less insane theater and then if I like it see it in IMAX a few weeks after release.

Crap. I think the interweb is crashing! Had tickets in my cart for an Edwards Marquee IMAX (reserved seating) and my cart crashed. Was able to score 4 VIP+ (18 and up full service balcony) at a Santikos theater for a Friday showing. Now trying for Alam0 Drafthouse for Saturday for the commemorative glass/magazine.

Sheesh, what's it going to be like after the trailer airs and tickets "officially" go on sale????

I ordered tickets through Fandango.com but never got the confirmation page. I did get a confirmation e-mail and my credit card was charged so I hope everything went through OK.

Fandango and movietickets both kept crashing on me. Luckily there's a local premium chain that sells tickets on it's own website (with no service fees!). Scored 2 reserved recliners for their large format Atmos screen on the 17th at 10:30

A friend bought our tickets tonight at the local Warren Theater (nicest in our metro) and when he left they were sold out from Thursday (7, 9 & 12) through Sunday.
