This is the internet, Fight Club is going to win by a mile. As far as the World Wide Web is concerned Fight Club and The Matrix are the two greatest films ever made.

The only one from the list I've never seen is Zodiac.

I'll go with Se7en as an easy winner.

I implore you to seek out Zodiac.

It's Fincher's best film.

Have not seen Button. Which of his other films is it most like?

Button is in line with Zodiac, Social Network and Dragon Tattoo more-so than Fight Club, Se7en, The Game and Panic Room.

It's professional and polished but doesn't really scream of "David Fincher", it's also his worst movie.

Re: what is david fincher best film so far ?

I remember around 99-01, the average Internet "GREATEST MOVIES EVERRRRRR" list had to include at least six of the following:

- The Matrix
- The Sixth Sense
- The Usual Suspects
- Fight Club
- Magnolia
- Se7en (NEVER spelled Seven)
- Forrest Gump
- Pulp Fiction
- The Shawshank Redemption
- There's Something About Mary

*shivers*

It is more reminiscent of one of Fincher's bowel movements than of one of his films. A bowel movement that is starving for an Oscar.

Imagine Forrest Gump, but darker, longer and less charming.

I actually never understood the end of Benjamin Button, when he died he just turned into a zygote?

I'll go with "Zodiac", "Seven" and "Fight Club" in that order. But in a very close race. Followed by "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo". While I enjoyed "The Social Network", it's a film I feel I don't need to revisit for a long time. If at all.
