The only Wes movie I didn't love was The Life Aquatic. It probably deserves another viewing. My favorite is probably Royal Tenenbaums.

I watched "The Darjeeling Limited" for the first time tonight and thought it was merely OK, not close to as entertaining and engaging as his other films. Wes Anderson is very hit and miss with me.

I haven't seen Fantastic Mr. Fox, but have very little interest in doing so.

I'd say The Darjeeling Limited is my favorite of his films. The Royal Tenenbaums is good too as is The Grand Budapest Hotel. I have kind of mixed feelings on him as a director in general though. He seems like the kind of filmmaker I normally would like but sometimes he gets too quirky for his own good and his films bother me.

Now it'd be The Grand Budapest Hotel. That one... just knocked me into how he really really grew. Still keeping his style but also "maturing" within it. Lovely film. Fiennes was awesome.

Another vote for Royal Tenenbaums. Hands down my favorite role for Luke, Owen Wilson, and Gwyneth Paltrow. One of my favorites roles for Ben Stiller and Gene Hackman. And if u add the fact that Bill fuckin Murray is also on it, damn this movie just fucking rules.

I still have yet to see a Wes Anderson film. I had tapes of both THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS and LIFE AQUATIC, but both had problems that prevented my viewing them.

This is like asking what form of prison sex is my favorite but if I had to pick one then it is Bottle Rocket. My son loves Fantastic Mr. Fox but thankfully since he is deaf when he does watch it I don't have to listen to it.
