Terry Crews and Mike Judge Developing Idiocracy spinoff

President Camacho was one of the best things about Idiocracy. I can't wait.
Talk of some sort of Idiocracy follow-up has floated around pretty much ever since the movie hit theaters—talk that has only been negated by the fact that barely anyone actually went to those theaters and the film wasn't anywhere near profitable enough to merit expansion. In other words, shit's been all retarded, and everyone's shit's been emotional, but co-star Terry Crews has been trying for years to straighten it all out by publicly stumping for more Idiocracy. And according to a recent interview with Movieline, he may finally get it, sort of: Crews says that he and Mike Judge are currently in talks with Fox about "some Camacho stuff," and suggests that soon enough, fans could see the development of some sort of spinoff featuring his President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho—most imminently as a series of "small interstitials with Camacho" that will, fittingly, debut on the Internet, which has done all the work of keeping Idiocracy alive in the first place. No word on when exactly those will premiere or where, but Crews seems confident they will now that he has Fox's approval, which we'll go ahead and assume he got by flexing and screaming in the faces of Fox executives until they shut up and gave him what he wanted already.*

Hopefully, they won't make him talk like a f ag and make his shit all retarded.
P.S.-Before anyone gets mad, it's from the movie.

Idiocracy was one of those movies with a killer concept but just falls flat on its face. I only made it about halfway through before bailing on it. Such an unfunny movie for a pretty original concept.

This is how I felt about it. I thought the opening sequence was good but there was a huge drop-off after that.

Not for me. But I think regular folks are as stupid as portrayed in Idiocracy. For some, it hit them too hard.
And that's a large part of why Fox reeled it back. Fox is the company with a network that would have a show called "Ow, My Balls". And they were worried that it was going to alienate their viewers.

I agree... good concept (though not as original as people think), bad movie. While watching it all I could think of was how it made complete sense that Fox sat on it for over a year and just dumped into the market.

Welcome to Costco, I love you.
There was a time when reading wasn't just for F@G$. And neither was writing. People wrote books and movies. Movies with stories, that made you care about whose ass it was and why it was farting. And I believe that time can come again!

Marc Jacobs’ offshoot brand, Marc by Marc Jacobs, surprised the fashion crowd yesterday with an extra-masculine and not-that-wearable line influenced by Power Rangers and BMXers.
Designer Katie Hillier told Racked on Tuesday:
”I started with Power Rangers… I wanted to get across this youthful but strong attitude. [She's] a girl with character and independence from other girls.” Other hints at what will be shown tomorrow include references to ninjas, samauris [sic], and BMX chicks, obi belts, colorful sneakers, and a host of new accessories.”
We can totally see that. It’s just that we also detect a hint of post-apocalyptic conspicuous consumerism gone mad, with entire outfits functioning as flashy advertisements.
Basically, the clothes look just like those sported by Luke Wilson, Maya Rudolph and the rest of the cast of Idiocracy, the terrifyingly prescient future flick from 2006. Here’s Idiocracy:
