Just watched the trailer and it does look good. Loved the part where Lilly shows Rudd how to punch. Pretty solid cast as well. I had no idea Corey Stoll was in this. I liked him on House of Cards.

Marvel seems smart to have ordained the followup to A:AoU be a relatively simple straightforward popcorn film (albeit with some quirky, deadpan humor).

It's a sorbet after a dense meal with a lot to chew on. May not make GotG money, but I'll be surprised if it's the unwatchable, or flavorless, mess so many people were expecting with Wrights. departure

Rudd almost certainly has a multi-movie contract. Even if they don't currently have any plans for him in another movie, it's better to be safe than sorry by not signing him early on.

The second trailer for this makes it look like a ton of fun and seems to be a good balance of serious and goofy. Rudd seems good for the part too. I don't think Wright being out is going to matter much in all honesty. It sucks what happened given that he was pretty largely involved but I think the tone seems right.
