Ant Man and Dr. Strange are hardly scraping the bottom of the barrel. They are both fairly big Marvel characters. If they ever make a Squirrel Girl movie, THEN they would be scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I can see where you're going w/ Ant-Man. And many can too but he's not bottom of the barrel at all. Strange isn't bottom of the barrel at all. That bitch is ripe for great imagery at the very least. Man, I wish that rumor was true. That would've been too awesome...and it was.

Yeah...Great Lakes Avengers would be bad. I'm pretty excited for GotG so far from Phase 2. The rest I'm cool with..but I want to see wtf GotG will look like in a movie.

Dr Strange by a director like Guillermo Del Toro would be awesome.

He mentioned it once that it'd be cool. And for me? GDT is the best man for it. Hell...if they got him...he'd be the best director that Marvel would have by that point.

He's got a lot on his plate right now. The man held himself back for The Hobbit and now he's working like a mad man on a ton of shit.

We need a guy that has this certain womanizing look...for some reason I picture Dr. Strange live action character looking like Clark Gable

Womanizing look? This guy:

seriously though...Mortensen, man. That was a ugly rumor to spread. If Downey wasn't IM, I'd go w/ him as Strange as well.

Appaloosa is a woefully underappreciated movie.

re: Ant-Man (2015, Wright) S:Rudd

I have to keep reminding myself that Edgar Wright is directing this movie so that I remember there is a reason I should see it. Ant Man is/was such a non-entity for me in terms of memorable comic book characters. Then again, I stopped reading quite a while ago. Has this character become more prominent over the past decade or two? Or has Ant Man always had some sort of cult following in hard core comic circles?

Thank goodness you don't have to go.

Looks cool to me - I'm indifferent on Ant-Man as a character but I'll watch anything Edgar Wright directs.

So is the Wasp going to be beaten like she was in the comics?

re: Ant-Man (2015, Wright) S:Rudd

I hope this is not thread crapping. I just don't see the average movie goer paying to see a movie called "Ant Man." The title just sounds too silly to be taken serious. I'll go in with an open mind but i don't think this will do well financially. Maybe they can change the title? Like something related to the movies plot or something.
