You know what would be cool? If they made an Aliens versus Predator movie.

I agree with Giles. Contamination is awesome.

Don't forget Alien 2: On Earth (1980)

Is that the Italian knockoff by Antonio margherati? If so that one.

I completely agree. Deep Star Six is a pretty darned good movie. Nothing great, but a lot of fun (in a midly scary kind of way - very mildly).

No fucking way, you guys are nuts! Leviathan is way better than Deep Star Six; that movie was full of lame effects and really shitty music while Leviathan had Stan Winston work and Jerry Goldsmith! Not to mention some pretty good humor like that line "Gone through? Bitch we still here!"

Yup. After searching through Wikipedia and YouTube, that's definitely the right movie. Though the scene isn't exactly how I remembered it.

"Intruder Within" - made for television alien knock-off that takes place on an oil rig. The oil rig is drilling and pulls up some weird-looking eggs, which hatch into a Gigeresque monster that terrorizes the crew.

What about Pitch Black? That was the first one that came to my mind, although it is more Aliens than Alien.

The subject of one of my 'what's the name of that movie' threads. Loved it on TV when I was young and impressionable. Pretty sure it actually sucks eggs, though.

Another vote for Contamination. The movie is nothing but chest-burster scenes over and over, but instead of special effects, they used CO2 cartridges.

Amen, brother! Deep Star Six was a giant crab or some crap. Leviathan was Russian genetic experiment gone wrong. I'm gonna have to rewatch soon.

"Gone? Bitch we're still here!" . One of the best lines ever!

I just watched the trailer for Saturn 3 on YouTube and it looks really terrible.

It's pretty bad...and can you believe they actually dubbed Harvey Keitel's voice throughout the whole film!!!

Even so, it is a guilty pleasure of mine...I just have a thing for robots gone wild.

It really isn't that bad. The effects are decent and there's a fun time capsule quality to the film. Keitel being dubbed is really weird though.
