So this came up in discussion with my girlfriend...who is the most handsome movie star of all time?
The best looking actress thread has also been posted. One rule.. you can choose only one and must post only one picture. She came up with this guy.... http://www.librarising.com/astrology...paulnewman.jpg |

In W.W. AND THE DIXIE DANCE KINGS, set in the 1950s, Burt Reynolds stops making it with a girl in a car at the drive-in to pay attention to the screen, on which a scene from THE SUN ALSO RISES with Tyrone Power and Errol Flynn is playing. Burt: I love that guy. Girl: Tyrone Power? Burt: No, Errol Flynn. Girl: What, are you queer? Burt: No, but I would be for him. (Ironically, Errol's looks had declined precipitously by this point and the actor was only two years from death at the time.) |

Cary Grant

Re: Best Looking Actor?
I'm willing to say that Errol Flynn was the most handsomest of them all but...I'm willing to say that Hugh Jackman might better him.

Re: Best Looking Actor?
+1 on Paul Newman. Dude just had this magnetic pull to him in his prime. Him and the equally beautiful Liz Taylor together in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof? That's just bananas!

talking about Trejo. I literally think he's the only guy left in film that has as much facial detail as Bronson had. Granted..their qualities are diffent but...that man has a face that is very detailed.

Re: Best Looking Actor?
I think Paul Newman wins because he was very good looking pretty much right up to his death.
Obviously he was very handsome as a young man but there are tons of good looking 25-40 year old dudes. He was 60 in The Color of Money and still looked like he could have gotten any woman on the planet. In Road to Perdition he looked like an extremely attractive and distinguished 77 year old man. Tons of good looking actors go to shit as they get older but Newman was one of the few that was always handsome but just got older. |

Probably Chris Hemsworth. If I could look like another dude, it'd be him probably. Or Alexander Skarsgard |

When I think of handsome actors, I want someone who reeks of toughness and masculinity and has a nice solid jawline. If I were gay, I might have a crush on the above actor. And now that I think about it, Clint Eastwood (in his younger days) is another actor who kinda fits that description too. |

And he'll kill you with his bare hands. There's this awesome documentary on Netflix streaming that talks about his life and imprisonment in Folsom many years ago. Dude still does drug outreach locally. He's also pushing 70 years of age, so that may have something to do with it. The same thing with Bronson-he was already older when he broke out in the mainstream. |
