Yeah... though they aren't rumors, the dude is with another dude, they have 3 kids. When White Collar first started there was a "Characters Welcome" ad that would come on where he would flat out state he's gay. And James Roday is Mexican. So different those two.

He's Mexican and not homeless? Seriously, Solid Snake PAC has no excuse.

Sorry, but Ocean's Twelve is crap compared to the other two. Eleven and Thirteen are a lot of fun but Twelve is a complete snooze job.
As for Magic Mike, when I initially read about it I thought it was in the vein of the R-rated summer comedy like The Hangover or Bridesmaids. I didn't know it was a melodrama similar to Boogie Nights. I'll check this out in the Fall when it comes to video.

I saw it yesterday and enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. The dialogue was pretty realistic, it almost felt like they were doing improv (which they might have been doing?)

FWIW, my mom said she is going to this tomorrow with a group of women to a 5:00 PM showing because the 7:55 was already sold out. Granted, this is in small city KY, but I think if you want to be around women, this might be the movie to attend.

My advance screening of mostly random contest winners was 95% women age 18-28.

The reviews here are mostly excellent (two recommended's and one rent it). I can't wait to see this.

Doubtful. I thought that at first but this thing has taken off. If advanced sales on Fandango (52%) mean anything it will open at least in the 25-30 million range. Very good for a movie that only cost 7 million to make and R rated.
It will basically be profitable after one weekend so bomb... no.
Pretty sure I am going to see it. Looks funny to me.

I will NOT be seeing this movie in theaters. However, nothing is stopping me from going to a Tapas Bar that happens to be located next to a local theater showing this movie tonight.

What a fun movie going experience this was! It was a packed house full of groups of ladies of all ages (yes, even some Golden Girls who most certainly did not leave early) all out to have fun. There was clapping and hooting, and a good time was had by all. I am so glad I saw it with this crowd, it seemed more like an event than a movie.
I really enjoyed it, and not just because of the dancing (although that was enough in and of itself let me tell you). It just seemed really organic and real, which helped a few semi-serious plot turns not ruin the fun mood.
On a side note, I have never been a fan of Matthew McConaughey, but he was bloody fantastic in this movie. Not sure if it is because he finally has a role that allowed him to act like he does in real life
I will buy the blu for sure, and hope there will be 12 hours more of dance footage available as a special feature.
