Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. With the grey hair he looks like an old dude who's confident and badass, instead of an old dude trying desperately to look young and badass.

Is it too late to get Teresa Palmer cast in this thing?

Too late. Brit Marling did a rewrite and she has inserted herself into the film.

Teresa Palmer would never stoop to this level and agree to be in such a middling project.

MegaStars don't have to grovel for work.

The trailer does look pretty good. Makes it seem as though Schwarzenegger plays second fiddle to Stallone though -- I guess I just assumed they'd have similar screen time.

I'm going to guess that Sly escapes and kills the bad guy.

Though I doubt it'd happen (and it'd make little sense) it'd be amusing if the final twist is that Schwarzenegger is the bad guy and he set this up because Caviezel screwed him over and he knew only Stallone could break him out.

I think you just nailed it Roc. That probably is the twist.

The more I think about it, that is probably right.

re: Escape Plan (2013) S: Stallone, Schwarzenegger

Not bad trailer....

I have to say that Stallone can still be taken somewhat serious, but its getting real tough to still feel that way about Schwarzenegger.....

The "Expendables 2" is fresh in my mind though, and they were both pretty ridiculous in it. Maybe Escape Plan will change my point of view.

re: Escape Plan (2013) S: Stallone, Schwarzenegger

Looks damn good. Jabberwockies!!!!!

The film is directed by Mikael Hafstrom, who directed Derailed, 1408, Shanghai, and The Rite. Regardless if the story sucks, this will have some stellar composition/cinematography.

I'm lovin' the subtle sci-fi/1984 angle. That prison reminds of Face/Off.

This looks better than both Expendables films. I'll catch it at a matinee.

re: Escape Plan (2013) S: Stallone, Schwarzenegger

Looks awesome, it has to be better than Expendables 2.

Arnold turns 66 in July, and Sly will be 67. Still believable action stars too.

re: Escape Plan (2013) S: Stallone, Schwarzenegger

I'm kind of bummed that Stallone and Schwarzenegger were never replaced by other loveable All-American action heroes. It's almost like a burden that they need to keep making these movies.

The Rock comes close. But he still doesn't have that unmissable presence that Arnie had.

re: Escape Plan (2013) S: Stallone, Schwarzenegger

Did anyone see this? I enjoyed it quite a bit, but I am a fan of both leads. As expected, 50 Cent was a waste, but I thought Arnold and Sly had good chemistry together. Overall, this was more along the lines of what I expected from the "Expendables" series.

Re: Escape Plan (2013) S: Stallone, Schwarzenegger

I am pumped for this. My friend and I saw both Bullet to the Head and The Last Stand together, and we are going to check this out. I keep marveling at the fact that it's 2013 and we're getting these movies.
