Re: X-Men: Days of Future Past - Dir: Singer

I remember bring up the whole Blade started the comic book movie era point because X-Men itself had been in production for at least 3 years with Singer and it wasn't until Blade came out and did well that Fox and Singer got serious about making X-Men.

He'll be a Sentinel most likely.

Re: X-Men: Days of Future Past - Dir: Singer

If this were DC, he's easily Dr. Psycho

As for Marvel. Voice of Nimrod? I could see him as a re-envisioned Black Tom Cassidy or Jason Wyngarde

Is any part of Alpha Flight available to Fox for use in their films? Are they considered as part of the X-verse just by association? And I don't remember any of that team within the DoFP storyline. Aurora and Northstar are the only true mutants on that team.

Re: X-Men: Days of Future Past - Dir: Singer

We could use some Sentinels in this movie. I like the tone and story arc they chose for the X-men Origins: Wolverine game. The Sentinel program would not really fit into the timeline of the movies (mostly because Wolverine was in First Class, thuss acknowledgeing the 4 previous movies) if the movie would take place between First Class and X-men 1.
But I would like to see Magneto vs the Sentinels and Apocalypse as a third movie. Or the Omega Red (cold war era story) I think this are thrump cards the X-men franshise still has.

If they make it a believeble "coming of age" story for Magneto and Xavier it will work.

Oh and an small sidenote maybe a CGI Juggernaut (works better)

I'm 99% certain the Sentinels are confirmed for this movie. And we've already seen one in The Last Stand so we know they're around, at least in a computer program.

Yeah but the confirmation was from Mark Millar. Even when says the absolute truth, I don't trust him.

Funny how some of these "new" members post a lot like "older" memebers.

Re: X-Men: Days of Future Past - Dir: Singer

I'm not sure. I was going to ask u the same question. I think they're is a good chance. I'm a huge comics fan and I love Days of Future Present. It's one of Alan Moore's best works. The moment when Wolverine throws Dr. Manhatten into the Sentinel is one of the most dramatic moments in comics history.

u would b crazy to think their aren't Sentinels in the movie.

Wait a second. I've read Days of Future Present. It's Colossus who throws Wolverine into Dr. Manhattan.

Michael Clark Duncan. The fans got in an uproar about it because they felt a dead person shouldn't be portraying anyone.

Re: X-Men: Days of Future Past - Dir: Singer

Mark Millar just a few wks ago:

“I don’t really want to give too much away but the Sentinels are a big feature of this story. They will be cool and this will deliver on all of the teasers. We’ve all been waiting for this ever since X-Men: The Last Stand showed us one of their heads. Now it is finally coming, and we only have to pay ten quid to see it in the cinema whereas they’re having to pay $100 million to deliver it. So I’m delighted.”

I hope so. Spawn was Rob Liefeld's best creation.
