T2 was a regular staple of my childhood, so with T3 the year-after-year rumors and stories since it was in Development Hell in the 90s was just real agony waiting. I remember not long after Eraser coming out in '96 that Corona Coming Attractions had a big story on Cameron doing a final treatment to the script for a summer 1999 release. It was gonna be huge. Wish that would've come to fruition.

I didn't finally see it until it came to HBO in the summer of 2004, but after watching it for the first time, I thought it was pretty good. Then I watched it once or twice again and really thought it was just pretty bad. I do remember being heartbroken when I found out Kristina Loken is a lesbian in real life. Between her and Michelle Rodriguez, I can really pick 'em.

If anyone is able to find Nick Stahl, maybe he could come back and play John Connor.

Honestly Edward Furlong is just as effed up and he'll always be John Connor to me. I'd like it if they'd bring him back.

Re: Terminator 5

Maybe they can make a plot where Edward Furlong was turned into a robot. I kinda like his acting he was pretty cool in Crow 3. In a recent interview it looks like he lost a lot of weight.

Hahaha! I've actually never seen that! It's cheesy as hell, but I kinda liked it, lol

Re: Terminator 5

This one should just be about Schwarzenegger finding Eddie Furlong and Nick Stahl in drug dens and trying to get them cleaned up and acting again. Like The Soloist with less schizophrenia and more explosions.

I loved that scene when I saw it on the DVD. But they had to cut it. Otherwise an already goofy movie would be downright absurd.

Re: Terminator 5

I'd sort of like to see a fractured timeline story, where there are multiple John Connors in the same universe, with multiple Terminators coming after them... with some of the Connors getting killed off. If done right, that would be pretty cool.

A steady diet of drugs will do that.

You should see his girlfriend, Monica Keena. Yikes.

She might look fine, but I have friends who work closely with her and... yea, she's a prescription pill mess.

Funny vid. Looks like some Pentagon chillout. Why are humans creating the alienoid tank and hunter killer?

I agree. Felt like something out of Starship Troopers.

Fixed.

Although I can't blame you for forgetting about that piece of shit with Kirsten Dunst and Eric Mabius

A big shame indeed. I just goggled her and shit she's cute. I guess Furlong and her are perfect for each other living that crazy drug lifestyle.

Re: Terminator 5

I guess I'm one of the only ones that actually enjoyed Salvation and want to see more of the future war scenario. I HATE T3 and will not go and see another Terminator movie that features the "go back in time after John Conner again" plot.

Re: Terminator 5

I will only watch if it takes place in the Old West and the T800 is sent back to kill John's great great grandaddy. And then make it ironic and after killing a high tech machine from the future, have an old Ford coast over John's great great grandaddy before he's able to conceive John's great grandaddy.

Wait, that would probably cause too much instability in the timeline. Maybe Skynet would then never be made.

Wait, just make a story where they kill John's mom, blow up the time machine and the future is lost. I'm tired of time travel paradoxes.

Welcome to the club. Except for Bale's horrid performance (and he was, sadly, the reason I wanted to see the movie) and piss poor logic during the final act (why not simply kill Kyle Reese?), I had a lot of fun watching Terminator Salvation.

I'm still pissed McG didn't deliver with the promised extra hour of footage that was to be put back into the director's cut.
