Re: Confined/claustrophobic movies?

A large part of The Descent (Original Unrated Cut) felt uncomfortably claustrophobic to me. I thought it was a good movie, but it definitely made me squirm in more than a few places during the film. One of the best cave/cavern-type horror movies out there IMHO. -kd5-

World Trade Center with Nic Cage. Not a great movie, but fits the criteria.

Re: Confined/claustrophobic movies?

INCEPTION all took place in DiCaprio's head, which is much smaller than a submarine, a cave, a jury room, an elevator or a phone booth.

In J. EDGAR, DiCaprio's "in the closet" for the whole movie.

Exam. I saw it on Netflix a while back and think it fits perfectly with what the OP is looking for.

A couple more of John Carpenter's early films:

Assault on Precinct 13
Prince of Darkness
