It kinda bothers me on how off they are with the nominees. I mean they usually are, but this year has been a pretty great year, IMO, so them nominating the typical award bait films is insulting.

I'm not as into the award shows and movies in general as I used to be years ago (I would typically see all of the nominated films before the award shows even aired), but I still enjoy them none-the-less and try to catch up on all of the nominated and winning movies throughout the year.
There really haven't been many films or performances that are expected to run away with everything like there tend to be most years, it seems.
The Golden Globes are often times difficult to predict (for me, at least) and I haven't seen most of these nor do I know much about the buzz, but here goes:
Best Motion Picture - Drama: Hugo
Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy: The Artist
Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama: Leonardo DiCaprio for J. Edgar
Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama: Meryl Streep for The Iron Lady
Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy: Jean Dujardin for The Artist
Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy: Michelle Williams for My Week with Marilyn
Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture: Jonah Hill for Moneyball
Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture: Bérénice Bejo for The Artist
Best Director - Motion Picture: Martin Scorsese for Hugo
Best Screenplay - Motion Picture: Midnight in Paris
I will predict here and now though that Daniel Day-Lewis sweeps all major awards for playing Abraham Lincoln next award season.

Nice guess on Plummer, sauce07. It was a good performance, but kind of surprised the HFPA thought it was good enough to win.

Madonna's win is such a joke. No one is going to see that movie. And the GG crowd couldn't have been more chilly.

"Michelle Williams in the hysterical comedy 'My Week with Marilyn.'"
Michelle Williams seems very nice and is a great actress, but as herself, she seems like such a dolt the times I've seen her on talk shows.

Pisses me off that Michelle Williams won. She's a great actress, but she wasn't in a comedy or musical and I think Wiig would have won that award if Michelle had been in the drama category.

Holy shit, was that Chris Tucker? Damn he looks old. And how did he get invited to the ceremony?
