Who would you like to see play Batman next?
 

Since there's no way WB is going to end the franchise I'm guessing we'll get a reboot by 2014 like Spider-Man.

Ugh. No more "reboots" of recent series. Just continue the story with new actors (including Joker).

All about 10yrs too old. And this wouldn't even be cast for another 2-3 yrs. The only person jumping to my mind is Arnie Hammer.

But the best scenario would be if The Dark Knight Rises presents an opportunity to keep it in that universe, using one or two of the actors involved. (it all depends how it ends)

They 86-ed that idea before Smallville. That was the original plan, but they just changed it into a Superman story.

There was talk a few years ago about making a similar Smallville-type of show based on Dick Grayson.

Personally, I hope for whatever Batman movie reboot happens next, that DC starts to tie their movies together to climax in a Justice League movie like what Marvel is doing with their movies now. I hope we see Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern in a cameo scene at the end of the upcoming Man of Steel movie. Then maybe having Superman meet Batman at the end of the Batman reboot.

Good GOD, I hope that never happens. Let Marvel do their "movie universe" thing, it works well for them. DC should just make good stand-alone movies period, not trying to make each and every movie a 2 hr promotional vehicle for some JLA movie in the future, trying to make some "continuity" fit.

I'd rather see Nestor Carbonell revive his Batmanuel character from The Tick before another ultra-dark Batman trilogy. They've gone about as far as the can with the tortured soul Batman. I don't want campy Adam West crap, but how about something a little more, well, detective (as in Detective comics) oriented. Maybe actually solve some crimes instead of just clobbering costumed weirdos.

Keep Christian Bale around as Batman. Why mess with a guy who has been the best Batman since Adam West. You throw enough money at Bale and he will do another one, even without Nolan.
