I'll be so down for another Hellboy, I love the Golden Army so much I bought all the figures from the movie. But i doubt its possible at this point

At least he came out and said it rather than stringing people along. Seems kind of strange that he's saying all parties confirmed it won't happen though. I would think Pearlman would be willing to play the character again.

The Hellboy films are a great example of a film spending so much time to get the aesthetics, design work, art, prosthetics, etc. perfect that they forget to tell a great story in the process.

Not quite. He spoke with all parties involved, which means it's Perlman, Mignola, and Universal. Universal is the $$$ and said no.

That's what I took away from it.
