For anyone in Northern California, this film is being shown as a part of the San Francisco International Film Festival. I think there are 2 screenings for it.

U.S. Trailer. Warner Brothers picked up the U.S. rights. Supposedly will get a theatrical run here at some point. WB will also distribute the DVD/BD.

I'm calling it now: the film will get an extremely limited theatrical release with it being available on demand the same day with a Blu-ray release about two months later.

And given that WB picked it up, it won't play Netflix or Amazon Prime streaming. I really liked Hartley's other films and will gladly see in a theater if it plays in LA.

It worked 2 days ago. I guess they took it down.
The official Facebook page for the movie said the documentary will be Rated R by the way.

Warner submitted it for MPAA approval once they acquired it.
Rated R for strong sexual content, graphic nudity, violence including rape, language and some drug use.
Now that's an R-rating.

Saw it and loved it. Loved seeing all the old Cannon films ads.
It was like non-stop releases. More than Sy-Fy could ever do in a lifetime.

It was a link to YouTube which I thought was a trailer only. Surprisingly it was the whole thing that had been up for a few days before getting taken down. It was probably ripped from import BD

Man, in theory, I want to see so many damn films from this movie. I just don't think it will happen. Maybe I'll watch the doc the brothers produced. Loved this movie though.

Hartley's docs are by far the best when it comes to exploring these little pockets of cinema history with both the passion and derision they deserve.
We can at least be grateful that Kino, Shout, Olive and even Fox/MGM to a lesser degree (with their budget-minded Norris/Bronson/Van Damme combos) have done a decent job getting a lot of the key Cannon titles to Blu-ray since Hartley finished Electric Boogaloo. A lot of the earlier DVDs went out of print and fetch steep prices.

A friend of mine has the Australian copy - makes sense since the film was made with the cooperation of Australian producers. Oh, and Brett Ratner produced it, too. It was really cool and made me want to watch some Cannon fodder.

This is one of the best movies of the year. I too have the Australian version and it is great. This is a must see for anyone who likes movies or grew up in the 80's

Doesn't really bother me the movie isn't on BD.
I might consider getting the 10-disc collection depending on what movies are in it. That ad is too hard to decipher. At least the documentary is included with it too.
Edit:
The 10-disc collection includes the following movies:
Missing in Action (already have on BD)
Invasion USA (own on DVD)
Cobra (own on BD)
The Delta Force (own on BD)
Masters of the Universe (don't have)
Over the Top (don't have)
Bloodsport (own on BD)
The Hitman (own on DVD)
Hellbound (don't have)
Electric Boogaloo
I guess I don't need the 10-disc set.

Here's the trailer again. This time WB's Youtube page has it.

Didn't realize from the trailer that Franco Nero was completely dubbed in Enter the Ninja.

DVD artwork front and back. Extras appear to be deleted scenes and trailers for old Cannon movies.
