I've watched Uncle Buck several times and didn't realize the oldest daughter was Jean Louisa Kelly from Mr. Holland's Opus and the series Yes, Dear.

I haven't watched Titanic in it's entirety in about 9 years, but while checking out a Rifftrax montage on youtube last week, there's an Ioan Gruffudd sighting!

I just watched that recently and spotted him! My kid recognized him too as "the guy from Ringer."

Saw Object of My Affection for the first time in years, and Hayden Panettiere was the little kid performing as the mermaid at the very beginning

I've seen the film countless times, and the series a few times. For some reason I never put two and two together.

And as an adult in 2011 I still don't understand why I know who he is.

Yeah he was pointed out to me when I was a kid in the theater. I was wondering why adults were laughing at that part.

This sounds really pathetic, but I never noticed that he was on TNG. I think there was only one story that even remotely involved him - when his wife got shrunken down to a kid - but I never watched it because I fell asleep after the first 10 minutes and every review i've read trashed the episode. So when I started watching DS9, I had no clue why the fuck they kept referencing the Enterprise. I thought they just established him as being on TNG without ever showing him.

Watching Under Siege and Meaney's in this one too!

Funny, because I always remember the line "The cook's a SEAL?" but I never knew it was delivered by Meaney.

Re: Actors/Actresses you've now noticed in movies you watch all the time?

My Mom is a soap opera watcher, and has been for a long time, and I have caught scenes of them at times, and was in awe when I watched the documentary on the Making of Evil Dead II,and found out the actress who played "Bobbi-Jo" got her 1st acting gig in EDII and now stars on "One Life to Live". Forgot her name, and am about to go to bed so I'm not gonna look it up on IMDB.com tonight.....

I just went back and watched 24: Season 2. I was surprised to see Ron Swanson (from Parks & Rec), Tuco (from Breaking Bad) & Jigsaw (from Saw) all had small parts.

I watched both TMNT and Fresh Prince all the time when I was a kid, and I never realized that Uncle Phil voiced Shredder until I read about it many years later on the internet.
