The star of this film won 1 leading-actor Oscar for a previous film and was nominated for three other acting Oscars prior to this film. One of his co-stars in this film co-starred in a film (and won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for that film) the previous year with the star of the previous film in this thread. Confused? Lots of previouses, I admit.

I'm 99% sure that I know the film, but I'll hold off in case anyone else wants to guess first. I'll admit that it was your clue and the two screenshots in the latest post that tipped me off, as it's a favorite movie of mine and, like you said, one of the classiest of its type.

You can guess if you wish, rbrown. There's no rule against it, though it's commendable of you to try to give others a chance. To that end, I'll post two more screenshots for tonight. If no one has produced the answer by tomorrow afternoon, I'll start posting giveaways.
