Biopics you would like to see?

J. Edgar Hoover? Margaret Thatcher? Pfft. Who would you like to see?

I'd love to see films on:

Walt Disney
Nikola Tesla

Walt Disney would be a great one. I wonder who would play Disney?

If they can ever get the legal stuff worked out, I'd love to see a biopic on 2pac.

Not exactly a person but I would love to see a Grateful Dead biopic (you would actually need a 10 hour HBO miniseries).

I can't believe there hasn't been a biopic on The Beatles with their enormous popularity that has spanned generations.

There was one on Lennon's early years that came out in 2009 called Nowhere Boy. I haven't seen it though. I guess I just find it surprising there hasn't been one on them though. It seems like an obvious choice.

Steve Irwin would be a good one.

Jackie Robinson would be great.

And Milos Forman should do an Amy Winehouse biopic, that would be really interesting to see.

Chris Farley was in talks to do Fatty Arbuckle before he died. David Mamet wrote the script.

Good thing he died then. Farley is a terrible choice.

More than anything I can think of right now, I would like to see Sergey Bodrov film the second film about Genghis Khan.

It's been on again, off again, on again, off again...

Man I hope that film gets made.

I agree with a Miles Davis biopic.

Elvis Presley. We have already had movies for the early years. I would like to see one about the last ten years of his life.

I think the enormous popularity is exactly why there hasn't been a Beatles biopic. It would probably be difficult to get all of the surviving members and widows to sign off on it (which I imagine would be necessary to get the music), especially if it doesn't paint them in the best light.

Is that Nolan Bushnell movie still on? That could be interesting.

We can't even get Let It Be on dvd or blu-ray because the Beatles don't like how they come off in it. I doubt a biopic would ever happen while Paul, Ringo and the the widows are still alive. The music rights would be even harder to get.
