I also really like that new trailer much better than the first one.

Love the new one. While it's hard to judge this early, it looks like Waltz could very well be getting another Supporting Actor nomination. He won't win because he has done so previously, but still, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets another nom.

Yeah, the character is so catered to Waltz manner of speech that it's such blast to see it happening.

I prefered the other take of Di Caprio's "but now you have my attention bit" as seen in the previous trailer.

I didn't mind the first trailer but the international one is way better.

That trailer has a distinct 1970s blaxploitation western vibe, like BUCK AND THE PREACHER or THE LEGEND OF NI**ER CHARLEY. It feels like it could have been made back then. I'm not sure that's such a good thing. The great thing about films like KILL BILL VOL. 1 and INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS is that they could not indeed have been made like that back then.
I had a dream about DJANGO UNCHAINED this morning. In the dream, I'm at an advance screening and the film opens with some carnage perpetrated by Django in modern-day New Orleans and then shows us Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and Mitt Romney jogging together and then stumbling across the scene of carnage. I'm sitting next to Tarantino at the screening and I lean over to him and say, "Isn't this supposed to be set during the Civil War?" I also wonder what kind of backlash those three politicians will suffer for agreeing to appear in this film during an election year. At some point, I plan to express my displeasure after the film by raising up five fingers on my right hand, to represent the five good films Tarantino has made, and raising up three fingers on the other hand to represent the three stinkers he's made: KILL BILL VOL. 2, DEATH PROOF and this one.
I'm hoping this is not a prophetic dream.

I know the clips in the trailer were very short, but Dicaprio's acting was bad. Foxx's was adequate. And Waltz's was superb.

His accent. His accents always sound so strained and unnatural. i.e Blood Diamond.

2nd trailer was better - don't like that "Jango....the D is silent" line though, hopefully that's not in the flick.

No matter what DiCaprio does there'll be haters (I'm not one). Kinda like with me and TASM.

I'm not a hater. I just think he's very average at his craft.

He may be average at alot of things but acting is not one of them. Maybe in a 2 second scene in a trailer but not the whole film. lol

I've always like DiCaprio but he was definitely way overrated years back - starting opposite of day-lewis and nicholson showed his limitations as well but with that said...I thought The Departed was his best flick.
This one looks like it may just be his best yet though....it looks like he is really eating the role up.
