Worst Zombie Movie Ever?
I'm currently halfway through the abortion that is "Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave". I didn't seek this out, it was the best option on a shitty night of TV. This is horrible on so many levels, but by far the biggest offense is having self-aware zombies that chat and tell jokes.

Twilight. Despite Kristen Stewart being a fairly believable zombie, everything else was shitty vampires and werewolves.

A meteor lands in Jamestown, California in 1849 during the gold rush. It is found by a group of miners who release its spores, turning the population into blood thirsty mutants. A gunslinger and Indian warrior must team up in the Wild West for a showdown against the zombie mutant hordes.
This was really bad. Got at Redbox under title of The Dead & The Damned.

Edges of Darkness.
It's awful. In fact, it's so bad the director was defending the film's honor on its IMDb forum.
Here's Anchor Bay's Synopsis from the back cover:
"The zombie apocalypse has come to Los Angeles, and the streets are infested with flesh-eating horror. In these three tales of human survivors–a computer-obsessed husband, a young couple with a chilling addiction, and an urban warrior hunting the most demonic prey of all–the ultimate carnage is about to begin. The strong will flourish. The weak will be devoured. And in a world gone mad with desperation, reckoning, and rage, some hungers can never be contained."
What you really get are 3 stories containing a killer computer, a vampire couple who go out during the day and drain the blood from their victims before drinking it, and something to do with a kid who is the anti-Christ. The only thing this has to do with zombies is the 5 minute framing sequences at the beginning and end, and the fact that you see a couple zombies shambling around outside windows in some shots.

Top it off with the fact that it's one of the most amateurish and most badly written, acted and directed films I've seen in a while. The whole thing looks like it was put together by a High School film class, I am really surprised it got a DVD release from a well known publisher.

What a thinly veiled shill you are. Nonetheless, I look forward to more of your reviews.

Zombie movies can be very bad. I find Myself turning them off if I can't take it anymore.
House of the Dead is up there. I've seen a couple already mentioned and can't argue with those either.
Now, an experiment :-) Take the worst zombie movie you've seen, and compare it to my web series (in my signature), I'm curious how it compares. Tell me the truth! I can take it!

I saw one a month or two ago that was set on an airplane that I think was part of the series. That would have been the movie decribed in the OP before last night.

Re: Worst Zombie Movie Ever?
I've see a lot of recent zombie movies that compete strongly for worst one, but the tops is still
Nightmare City (1980)
aka
City of the Walking Dead
aka
Incubo sulla cittą contaminata
One of the worst movies of any genre that I have ever seen.
There's always the argument between zombie fans that zombies SHOULDN'T run or that they SHOULD run. However, I'm sure that we can all agree that...zombies SHOULDN'T carry uzis!
