Just a teaser but...I'm game either way.

Yowzer! At first I thought that was a pre-commercial before the actual trailer. I look away for a second and then looked up. Damn. That looks pretty awesome. Can't wait.

Lame teaser. Seems they changed directors. Hopefully that's a change for the better but I doubt it'll be anything like [REC] and just more dreck like [REC] 2.

Re: [REC] 3: Genesis
I thought that was pretty terrible.....rec seems to be going the quarantine 2 route...which is definitely NOT a good thing.

Re: [REC] 3: Genesis
The original is one of my favorite horror movies. Second one was just stupid and ruined the first. This one looks like it could be fun as a standalone.

Re: [REC] 3: Genesis
I still enjoy the split from REC to Quarantine. One different detail allows completely different sequels. I will see this... and also hope that another Quarantine is made following that story line furthered in part 2.

I'm excited to see it. The tonal shift seems major from that trailer though, hope it doesn't effect the quality of the movie too much because this franchise is great.

Loved the first film, finally got into the second film recently.
Are the Directors going away from the handheld style of the first two films? Any word on that?

Re: [REC] 3: Genesis
LOVED both REC and Quarantine. Liked REC2 and Quarantine 2 was OK. The teaser had me interested, but not excited. However, after watching the second trailer for this ... OH HELL YEAH!
I love the method of switching from the handheld POV to traditional camera work ... and who can't be stoked over a bride with a chainsaw?!

Re: [REC] 3: Genesis
Each film seems to have a bigger budget and better sfx/makeup. Not sure if that's good or bad....
Either way, we enjoyed 1 and 2 so we'll check this out too.
Still haven't seen Quarantine 1 and 2.

Re: [REC] 3: Genesis
REC 2 is still the best of them all (meaning including the quaratine flicks) I love that fucking movie..how it was directed, where they took the story, etc...
Still not sure on this one and that poster is pretty terrible - it's like their turning it into Busta Rhymes vs Michael Myers.....I know that's horrible to say but....I only mention it cause after 2 I was so stoked to see what they would do next and this isn't what I wanted at all.
EDIT: Decided to watch the second trailer again.....I take that michael myers comment back. I do like how they still "close them in" but the chiansaw scene seems a little forced but maybe it can work.
