W.C. Fields' lechery towards women a third his age, spoken about in THE BANK DICK and actually shown in NEVER GIVE A SUCKER AN EVEN BREAK, would not make it today.
And Tony Roberts' line in ANNIE HALL about making it with a pair of 16-year-old twins would not be allowed today.

Depends on your idea of a studio film, I mean, Takashi Miike is comissioned by studios all the time... and he had a movie a decade ago where a teacher gave her obviously female hermaphrodite stripper (that shoots vaginal blowdarts) student a blowjob. And another where the title screen was made of jizz. Not to mention Visitor Q.
Dakota Fanning got raped in a movie a couple years ago.
They allow Sarah Jessica Parker's face in movies regularly.

I fail to see the problem.

But in all seriousness, the movie had also jabs against homosexuals and used rape as a joke in one part. There's a lot about that film that wouldn't fly today.

The water buffalo shot near the end of Apocalypse Now would never make it today (even if it was filmed as part of a tribal ceremony).
I'm not the sure attack on the Kintner boy would make it into Jaws today. It would probably have to be something that was implied off screen.

This thread makes me sad that all this "PC" shit has turned us into a nation of pussies.

Sweet Sweetback's Badassss Song. Banned in Britain for the depiction of underage sex using an underage actor.
Last night I noticed that the "Eyesight to the Blind" segment in Tommy featured people who really were crippled and mentally disabled. Would that be allowed by studios today? Or would they require that director put handsome and fit actors in the wheelchairs?

I assume you mention this because a kid was killed on screen. I don't know about that. There are plenty of recent movies that show kids getting killed. one recent one that comes to mind is The Happening.

Off screen vomiting. Implied vomiting.
Nowadays they just show it. Why? Who really wants to see that?

We get off off screen/implied vomiting here and there. It's a give and take depending on the film I guess (rating my dictate which...i'll have to check on that). Anyway...it doesn't bother me seeing people vomit in a film. What bothers me is when it doesn't look right.

Pretty much all of "Private Lessons".
