I saw his birthday listed on the front page of IMDb last night and thought to myself how cool it was he was still around.

Here is the first part of a more than two hour interview with him from 2005:

I hate to admit this, but I thought he already was dead. I thought he'd died a couple years ago.
Regardless, the man was a considerable talent. Loved him in the first episode of Outer Limits.

I met him when he was doing promo signings for ATT back in the day. Had him sign a ATT headshot, but I talked to him for a few minutes about his work on The Twilight Zone and had him sign the page out of the Twilight Zone Companion for one of his episodes. Super nice guy.

Really good actor who never quite had the career he deserved.
That he was blamed for the cheque forging scandal of a studio executive was just criminal as well.
I think his television work was supreme - especially his role in The Galaxy Being (first episode of The Outer Limits) and The Twilight Zone.

I have been watching this man act since the late 60s or early 70s.
Man I loved him "Charly", one of the few movies that moved me when I was young (only 11 years old).
Really believe whatever he acted in - he was and will always be uncle Ben.

Time for a certain poster to revive his Charly OAR campaign of contacting every member of dvdtalk.

There's a fascinating book called "Indecent Exposure", about financial shenanigans at Columbia Pictures in the 1970s. Robertson was the one who uncovered the misdeeds, and he was subsequently blacklisted by much of Hollywood.
