I can't keep track..are you an e-ticket guy? I can't figure out how your success rate is so much higher than everyone else's.

No, Movie Pass, I don't want to see Alpha or flip flappin' Slender Man.

I keep wanting it to get better but it's not going to happen, is it.

No e-ticket near me, but I live 2 miles from a Regal and often get my tickets early in the day before MP shuts everything out. I’ve been shut out several times, and complained here about their policies, but as long as I’m saving money I’ll stick it out. No matinees under $11.50 here, so just one film a month and I’m good. But I need at least a few a month to justify it in my mind, so as long as I can dodge their shenanigans and keep that up, I’ll keep it until they go under. In fact, my wife currently has an account, wants to cancel, but I’m strongly considering keeping her’s active just to double our possibilities.

Summer of '84 is on today's list, but in the app, it doesn't show up at my cinema that's showing it.
What a joke.

I wanted to see Alpha today but it wasn't one of the selected titles. So I opened the page to the theater I wanted to see it at this morning, and just left it like that, didn't close out the app. I checked back a few times throughout the day, careful to not go back a page or anything like that. Times were still listed, with only times that had passed disappearing on the screen. I checked into the movie I wanted to see, bought my ticket, and did the ticket verification. Voila! YMMV!
This worked for me today when I went to see Teen Titans Go! to the Movies with my wife. I opened my app first thing this morning and left it on the theater I was planning on going to and checked back every so often to make sure it had not autorefreshed. My wife was too late opening her app so she got a ticket to Alpha and walked into Teen Titans with me. Thanks for the tip!

Guess it’s a coin toss each day. Wanted to go see either Mile 22 or Alpha. Alpha was the chicken dinner. Actually a pretty good movie, too. Hoping for Mile 22 tomorrow.

It's scheduled for Monday-Tuesday-Thursday of this upcoming week according to the link posted earlier and in the wiki section of this thread.

Well, farts. I can't do movies during weekdays due to having a full time job and all.

That was my favorite! Runner up was the one about no ex-boyfriend trying as hard as MP to keep her.

re: MoviePass... would it work for you? [UPDATE: THE DEAD SHALL RISE]

This was truly amazing : I was able to use Movie Pass today for a movie that I actually wanted to see! It was a weird confluence of events, driving by the theater at 10 in the morning, checking my app, seeing that a 7 PM showing of Crazy Rich Asians was being offered, called the Mrs and she wanted to go. It shouldn't be this difficult / coincidental to use the service as it was originally intended, but to be fair I should probably upgrade my impression of the service from "completely worthless" to "almost totally worthless".

I’m the only person in this 9:05 PM showing of “Mile 22”. THESE are the seats MoviePass needs to team up with the studios and theaters to sell at a discount.

How long until they start taking credit for the box office of Crazy Rich Asians?

I was thinking about that yesterday. I bet they were not expecting it to be as big, so hopefully they paid out a lot of tickets

Dunno, but I would not have seen it without Movie Pass.

re: MoviePass... would it work for you? [UPDATE: THE DEAD SHALL RISE]

Meanwhile, I can't see it with Movie Pass. I can see The Meg or Mile 22, that's it. Can't go to Crazy Rich Asians with my spouse. Can't take my daughter to a Christopher Robin matinee today. Can't even see the 9:45pm Monday night showing of Mission: Impossible 6 tonight. Must be a lot of people trying to get into that tonight, wouldn't want to get in their way.

What a joke.

re: MoviePass... would it work for you? [UPDATE: THE DEAD SHALL RISE]

Christopher Robin, Crazy Rich Asians, MI are all not on the list:

https://www.moviepass.com/movies/

Today's list is basically:
Mile 22
the Meg
Miseducation of Cameron Post (72)
We the Animals (3 screens last week)
Skate Kitchen (1, but not on box office mojo since August 12)
Juliet, Naked (4 screens last week)
Summer of 84 (not sure)

That's actually 7 films, so someone can't count. Though only the Meg and Mile 22 are regular releases.

They started publishing what will be available for a week out last week (although you likely only get the main 2 from the list). The link for the listings is in the wiki for this thread.

Looks like Tuesday and Thursday for Crazy Rich Asians.

Edit: What fujishig already said.

Was able to see the Meg tonight. So only 2 movies so far this month. At least I'm out ahead now.

Stock price update: 3 cents.

I hear they are getting ready to roll out another "new" plan ... for $9.95/month you can make unlimited trips to the parking lots of any movie theater in the United States. No movies, but you weren't getting those anyway.

I clicked on the first page and ... well ... Pizza wins the prize.

I saw The Meg tonight and Christopher Robin few nights ago... I’ll check out Searching and Crazy Rich Asians soon... and if I’m bored A-X-L and Alpha.

Saw Alpha sunday night (bought tickets earlier in the day; checked in as Crazy Rich Asians). I like it.
Will try to see CRA sometime this week.
