Uh oh, my close theater is displaying no times in the app, and the app says they are trying to get the schedule.
Whats the deal if I see a movie, and MP reimburses?

I've had that happen a few times. I think the servers just can't handle the data.
If you have time, you can call the 800 number to get the card manually activated (although I'm sure they are busy, even before the price change I would wait 5-8 minutes at any given time).
Just take a picture of the ticket and email it to them, within a few days (again, before the price change) they should reimburse your billing card for that amount.
Given the horror stories about this year's movie take (worst year in decades), it's amazing how resistant AMC still is to this.

FINALLY! Got my MoviePass card in the mail today. Going to try to see Kingsman tomorrow afternoon.
Although it still says "processing" on the app, I assume it will activate when it asks for the last four digits on the card...
Update: Actually used it today to catch a late afternoon matinee. It was dead easy. Since I have two theaters within 2 miles of my house and another about 4 miles away, I can see me seeing a LOT more movies now.

The closest Regal to us for last two days has displayed only 4 screens of the 20 they have.
Not sure why that’s going on.
All the movies there were on the app until 2 days ago.

Used it today with no issues. Saw Friend Request at a Regal theater.
Movie was already $11.50, so the card's 1st month is already paid for.

Two days in a row now, saw Lego Ninjango at a different theater. A snap to use. Card has already paid for itself and more, plus I got my Regal points.

So you can only use this if you are near by the theatre? How does it work for reserved seats. I decided to give it a try since I have been going once a week. When I look at times it says to Check In. I haven’t got the card yet though.

When you check in, it loads money on the card, and then you walk in and buy the ticket. If you try to check in and you're not within 100 yards of the theater, it won't work.
The only exception to this is if MoviePass offers e-ticketing for a particular theater chain (there are only few chains that are supported, and the ones that are will appear with a red ticket icon next to the theater listing). For these theaters, you do not have to be within 100 yards. You check in, if the theater has reserved seating, it gives you a theater map and you pick your seat, and it buys the ticket and gives you a confirmation number, which you can type in at the kiosk when you arrive and it will print your ticket.
In all cases though, you have to buy the tickets same day. You can't buy advance tickets, at least not without bending the TOS.

With e-ticketing, you don't necessarily have to enter a code and get the ticket. I've had the QR cofe directly on my app for a few AMC theaters.

The only theater chain that participates in my area gives me like a 10 digit code that I have to type in.

App is a bit wonked up on my iPhone 7 ios11.
Lots of double listing for the same movie and a couple theaters not showing all the available movies.

I saw that before ios11. If a movie is double listed, as long as you can check in, you're good.
As for shows missing (or greyed out) it's usually because it's a "special event" screening that didn't get added the the app because it's not the same price as other movies, OR it's an "upgraded" screening. Like, my Cinemark has a dozen show times for the movie IT, but the "XD" showtimes (bigger screen, better sound) are greyed out.

I still haven't gotten my card (signed up 8/16). Am I the only one still waiting?

I got two emails on Friday saying my card was on the way. I received my card on September 12.

Um, are you supposed to register your card once you get it? I thought you were but can't find any way to do that. On the App, when I select Moviepass Card, it just says "Processing" still.

You'll register when you go to use it the first time. You'll try to check-in and it will ask for the last 4 numbers on your card (I think), which will activate it.

Well my first month with the card just finished. I saw 8 movies, and my wife saw 7 on hers. Id say we got our moneys worth.
