Your top movie past 10 years?
Just curious as to what everyone top movie for the past decade has been. I have seen some great ones, but the one that easily makes my #1 is the 2008 Japanese film "Departures". If you haven't seen this one, you are truly missing out on great cinema. Reminded me of how a great story, and great acting can so eloquently convey emotions. I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but the ending scene is so beautifully sweet and touching, if you don't cry, I think one should check their pulse. Everything about this film worked...story, acting, music...everything. One of the greatest movies I have ever seen in my life, and I've seen quite a few gems.

Atonement or Amelie
Hard to choose between them. Both had themes that resonated quite a bit with me. |

I love a LOT of movies from the last ten years, but for the sake of this thread, I guess I'll pick INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS.

While it's not the top movie of mine, I adore The Fall. It's an underrated gem. |

No Country For Old Men or There Will Be Blood
Although I reserve the option to change my mind if I'm reminded of other films. |
