That's the thing: A bit part of the appeal of a trailer is remembering how it made you feel before you saw the movie

While some may claim it's misleading, I think this trailer is dead on in capturing the essence of the 2007 film.

Also, the song at the last half is "I'm Losing You" by Rod Stewart. I like when the song quiets down when Jake Gyllenhaal is in the basement inquiring about another person in the house.

Simple but very effective in the theatre

I like this one because it gives a few glimpses of cut scenes and makes me want to rewatch the movie.

I love old trailers like this one. Where they give them a look at the making of the movie while previewing.

This is a brilliant example of using elements that don't appear in the movie. Notice Mad Magazine artist did the caracatures of the "AG" cast--which never appears in the actual movie.

This might be my favorite Kubrick trailer, even if it's the least innovative. "You mean, Anne Margaret is not coming?"
