Why don't Oscar writers EVER realize that the back and forth banter NEVER works?

Not a Timberlake fan, but clearly he should be hosting before Franco and Hathaway.

They probably were snorting the same drugs as Franco.

Why couldn't Timberlake do a Janet Jackson rip-grab now?

Glad I didn't enter many contests. I'm off to a nice 0-4 start.

Ugh. The Pixar loving continues.

The Illusionist was fantastic.

I was hoping How to Train Your Dragon would upset, but I knew that was a longshot

No surprise there, Toy Story 3 was very good, but I love the Dragon too.

My feelings regarding this year's Oscars so far (presentation and some of the winners)

The good news is that the show is probably already way behind schedule, and the further behind it gets, the less of the scripted junk they do.

It's dead silence in there. Every joke is bombing hard. I wonder if they can put Billy Crystal on skype and let him host the rest of the way.

At least we're through 5 awards in about 35 minutes. Too bad there's 0 surprises so far. Pixar could make a movie with a character taking a dump and then wallowing in it for 90 minutes and they'd win best animated feature.

The Illusionist is so much better than Toy Story 3, weakest Pixar film since Cars.
