I recently bought and saw 'Taken' starring Liam Neeson, WOW what a great film, and Liam is why! I have seen this guy in a few movies but I cannot think of more than a few movies that I have seen that he starred in.

Please tell me about some more great movies starring Liam Neeson!

Gangs of New York (who is literally the only person in the film who literally can be at the same level as Day-Lewis acting in this film...DiCaprio and ESPECIALLY Diaz couldn't stand a chance, Gleeson did fine for what short time they shared)


also he has a small role in The Hangover II as some tattoo artist...regardless of the film's quality...I'm sure he'll be a blast in this..

he's such a great actor, and his performance as Alfred Kinsey is one of my all time favorites, though not action oriented at all.

another good overlooked film of his is Rob Roy.

Thanks Bob, just came here to endorse "Rob Roy". I think it could be his greatest performance. Wonderful film too. Neeson is a terrific actor. And I personally feel he's one of the top 10 best actors working today. While I personally hated "Taken", I loved "The A-Team". Because it was such a fun film. And everyone looked like they had a blast making it. Nice to see a serious actor taking on different roles and films. Also check out "Chloe" sometime. While not a great movie, the performances are quite strong.

I would have to honestly say that my favorite film with him in it is The Bounty. He is not the star, but his role was fairly significant.

Yes. Pretty hot scene too... But then again I love Julianne Moore in just about everything she's done anyway.

Liam was in Excalibur also.

The Mission - directed by Roland Joffe, starring Robert De Niro, Jeremy Irons, and Liam Neeson.

Neeson has more of a support role, but the film is sure magnificent to look at.

Michael Collins is probably my favorite role of his though.

It's like 30 minutes of derivative plot and then it's like total all out action awesome w/ Liam Neeson driving the train to the city of Kicking Some Ass. It's a B at the most cuz of the plot but once that's out of the way, Neeson is beating the shit out of people to the end.
