I always found it amusing how in the first movie, the bodyguard of the loan shark that Rocky worked for told Rocky to take Adrian to the zoo because retards like the zoo, and then in the second movie Rocky proposes to Adrian at the zoo.

^ I grew up in that neighborhood. Would often walk down that street were Gazzo spoke to Rocky, on my way to the El to go to center city.

Yep, and Rocky tells the Tiger he'll send him an invitation...later buys a jacket with a tiger on the back...and then in Rocky III there's a whole thing about the "eye of the tiger". Rocky/Stallone definitely has a thing for the zoo!

Since it's "All six films", I wonder if the cringe-look will continue when he reaches Part V :D

Man that first hour on 'Rocky' was excellent. Loved it.

Stopped watching when they started on part 2 as the rest of the films are meaningless to me.

Very good doc. Nice to see Dolph included in the interview roster.

Never knew about Stallone's weightlifting injury that caused Rocky to become a one-armed fighter in Part II.

Of course it wasn't their fault Rocky 5 turned out badly.....

That doc was great...a lot of stuff in there that I hadn't heard before, including the fact that Mr. T was hard to work with and that Paulie was originally supposed to be Adrian's Jewish mother!

Agreed.

What is frustrating is there was an awesome story to be told in Rocky V (health problems but having to fight for financial reasons like RJJ, Evander, etc...) but Sly just messed it up royally. Everything was there to make a perfect movie including Morrison.

Having a street fight and not getting paid is one of the most unrealistic things in movie history.
