Friend involved in exec producing a documentary
 

A friend of mine has been helping raise money for a documentary that is currently filming. He's a pretty smart guy with a fair amount of connections, so it hasn't been very difficult for him. Plus, it's a documentary, so the budget is not that high (under $1MM).

He's been provided an exec producing credit and points based on his investment, but he wanted to gain some insight into how renumeration works for people in his role. I asked him to consult with his (non-entertainment) attorney to see if he could get any example contracts, etc.

Does anyone know of any resources available?

I did some Google searching and did some links, but nothing very useful.
