Post great dialogue driven movies.
Ones that don't have a lot of action and are really only dialogue driven. i, myself, never thought i would love them as i like a little action, but in recent times some have really blown me away. some that i have loved recently:

There are a lot of smart, dialogue-driven classics. All About Eve comes immediately to mind.

There's the titans (which people already started listing).
There's also "The Boat That Rocked". Didn't catch it till it was on DVD. I was a bit suprised that it didn't fetch higher box office. Constantly funny and unique. And it seems to be overlooked by most. You can also look up David Mamet's movies. |

Although not a great movie, I was genuinely pulled in by The Informant! Good dialogue and an interesting story.

if people are listing QT movies, which i agree have excellent dialogue that drives the movie and makes them great would they be considered "dialogue driven" though? i wanted to post PF, but wasn't sure. if they are, then this thread wouldn't be complete without the mother of them all (imo)...
**edit** Inglourious Basterds shouldn't be considered and i would hesitate on the other QT movies. |
