Yeah Mondo releases are pretty ridiculous with how quickly they sell out. You basically have to watch the page like a hawk the day the print you want is going up for sale. It's best if you already have an account created and are signed in and to keep refreshing the page. It seems like they usually put up the pre-orders around 10:30-10:45ish (central time for me). The irritating thing to me is like anything limited you know that inevitably there are people buying them to scalp and the thing is since these usually have low print numbers they don't really drop unless it's a less popular print.

I got the Twitter notification and was on the computer all morning waiting. I was on immediately. When I went to the page, the print wasn't there yet. And then when it was... it was sold out. eBay had them listed BEFORE they event went on sale too. Real fishy. There should be more in place to prevent bots. There is no way they went in seconds like that...

Of the timed ones I've only been successful three times. Two of those times seemed like less popular prints as they were around for a couple hours or so. The other time I think I just got lucky.

I don't know if it's still the case, but the twitter notification used to come *after* they'd update the website. Sometimes several minutes after. So you'd have to either refresh like crazy, or use an app that told you if the Mondo website had changed.

I think the tweet goes out when the pre-order goes live but its stilll pretty much a crapshoot.

It could have easily changed, but a few years ago there was a lot of complaining on expressobeans about it. I did end up with a lot of those tubes though.

I've never had luck but tried today for the aviator. I actually got one bur canceled since I have no wall space or money lol. But I'm happy with my fury road poster!

I ordered the blue spider-verse poster and haven't heard anything since my confirmation order. Did they send you an "item has shipped" email or anything with an update?

Yes, they did. Actually, I got "item shipped", "item it's on it's way", "item being delivered today" and 'item delivered" emails. I've ordered several times with them and this is the first time I gotten so much info about the order shipping. Not that I'm complaining.

My suggestion is that you check the status of the posters on your Mondo account.

Yeah. Michael's also has some decent off-the-shelf frames that I've been happy with. They do custom frames, too, but that can get really expensive. I've had 3 prints framed by them, and they do a good job.

I usually don't go for these... but after being really disappointed on missing out on the Drive one a few months back I went for the Bullitt one they released today. I figured out a way to atleast get notified a bit earlier than Twitter and was able to snag one. $16 for shipping is ridiculous though...
