I've been thinking about this.
I guess my pick for the best would Paul Newman in 'Cool Hand Luke'. Cutting off those parking meters and getting drunk. Then he breaks that smile at the police and the acoustic guitar begins.
Man I love that movie. One of my all-time favorites. We never learn what old debt he was paying back cutting those parking meters. We never learn much about Luke either. That opener sums up so much.
