Re: Best character introduction in a movie?

Indiana Jones finally stepping into the light in ROTLA, as an exclamation point to the whip-cracking smack down.

One of the all time coolest movie going moments I'll ever remember- and the film just kept topping it as it went along

Jaqueline Bisset in The Deep. That scene is supposed to be the origin of wet T-shirt contests.
Maggie Gyllenhaal in The Secretary.

And even though it's TV, and not a movie, this is one of the best I've ever seen. Death is pimpin'! (Sorry, can't find any that will let me embed it...)

Yeah, that's pretty sweet...just as sweet is his (re-) introduction in LAST CRUSADE, where the hat goes down on River Phoenix, and then the head raises back up at Harrison Ford. I love that shot.
