Did a person time travel to the premier of a Chaplin movie???

Did a person travel back in time to 1928 to the premier of Chaplin's "The Circus"???

I checked my DVD too, and it's there!

I'm not watching all of that. At what point does the footage show?

Starting at about the 4:24 mark. Who knows what it could really be. The real question is how could a cell phone from the future work back then without all the infrastructure. And who the hell would the lady be talking to on the other end? Maybe she was just warning her friend that Van Damme was on his way to arrest them.

The film Chaplin - James Woods had a little cameo in that. He actually traveled back in time, back to the twenties, where... Well, I've said too much.

After watching the footage, I can answer the question in the OP:

No

Any time traveler worth their salt would be eating a tuna club sandwich, not talking on a cell phone.

some people have to step back and think could this be a time traveling cross dresser talking on a cell phone or something more logical?

No it has to be time travel.

Dude, if you're willing to forgo logic and assume the person's a time-traveler (presumably from way ahead of our time as well), why not also make the much simpler assumption that her talky device works independently of any infrastructure?

Well one thing we know for sure since we're all still here, she didn't visit her previous self.

It can't be an AM/FM radio because its 1928. But it must be a time traveller with a cell phone.

That line was funny. I would suspect anyone capable of time travel would probably use a hands free device rather than an actual phone.

It's a hearing aid device from the '20's. That's all.

She was on the walkie talkie to Doc while her dad was laying out Chaplin in one punch.

"Are you ok?"

She's probably a time traveling assassin who was sent to kill Hitler but given only a photo as her guide.

It also looks like she holding onto her coat collar trying to block herself from the camera. She telling them to get that camera outta her face. Since back then, they always filmed live in cities to save money from building sets.

This is pretty obviously the guy who made the YouTube video's attempt to get a lot of free publicity for his own movie ventures (hence the plug at the beginning). Probably work too!

And Id say the woman had a toothache.

Yep, the woman went back in time with another person, and that's who she is talking to. It was this dude:

I guess he finally found someone to take him up on his offer.

So she was supposed to time travel to the premier of the Great Dictator, but she fucked up. I hate incompetent time travelers.
