I love it how they've just gone off the deep end with this sequel.

Bring it.

Looks like a laugh. The "bring me my legs" line was awesome. I'm game for another installment.

Not surprising. I'm sure the hold up is that Gulager was in over his head, shot a barely-useable piece of shit and now the studio wants to dump it.

The studio wants to dump a barely-useable piece of shit?

The Weinstein Company wants to dump a barely-useable piece of shit?

Um, have you see The Weinstein Company's output since their conception half-a-decade ago? A majority of it are films that can't even pass as a barely-useable piece of shit.

Christ, I'm sure it's better than all of the films they've given wide releases to in the past year like I Don't Know How the Horse Does It and Our Idiot Brother.

True, but I also saw Feast 3, and that was a barely-watchable piece of shit. Gulager isn't a good director. I still can't believe they turned this over to him when there are other, more competent horror directors out there.

Exactly. Both Feast sequels were fucking AWFUL. I have a high tolerance for bad movies, but I will never watch those again. After the original Feast, I thought Gulager might have had some potential, but its now obvious that he doesn't.

Fixed.

I've seen Feast, Feast 2, Feast 3, Saw IV - VII, and The Collector. Not a single one of them have an ounce of talent.

Wow. This will easily "leak" before the US gets it in Theaters. Nice.

Re: Piranha 3 DD (Gulager, August 2011)

When I first saw that inappropriately long scene of the two naked babes swimming underwater in harmony to classical music, in glorious 3D, I knew that cinema had died a little bit. And it felt good.

Bring on the sequel!

Already been debunked. The U.S. theatrical release (whenever that may be) will be the first release anywhere in the world.

So it'll be released before March 12th? And if so, you know Blu-ray Rips and such leak 1 month before the actual street date.

No, it just means that the straight-to-dvd in UK is a bogus rumour.

I'm in. Had a ton of fun watching the first one! This one has an even better cast IMO.

Re: Piranha 3 DD (Gulager, August 2011)

I actually think this has potential to be a little more fun than the 2010 one. It's decent, but sounds more fun than it is. It has a kind of flat tone and structure.

From what I've heard, the new one will be nuts, almost from beginning to end.

Re: Piranha 3 DD (Gulager, August 2011)

i have a feeling they're going to take it a little TOO far...just like they did with the FEAST series. the sex scene is what i'm specifically talking about...not the shotgun legs.

Re: Piranha 3 DD (Gulager, August 2011)

Of course they will; this is Gulager. He's going to run it into the fucking ground. I'd be shocked if the RT score is anywhere over 20%. Not that it necessarily means shit, but the first film had over 80% IIRC.
