Re: Iron Man 3 (Disney/Paramount 2013) - News, Rumors, Etc.

My biggest problem with Iron Man 2 is how much time was spent with Stark hiding his condition. It dragged on for way too long.

I think Hammer is great. Rourke is ok and I think Natasha is a great addition - her hallway fight is one of the highlights of IM2. The movie is just a little too long and could use a few trims. Otherwise, I think it's okay.

Maybe a bit of an ill hope but Titanium Man or Crimson Dynamo would be nice....But the Mandarin will most likely be the enemy. MODOK would be nice to

Uh...I think that's been established for a while if you're speaking of this movie.

IM2 definitely drags in parts. If they had just cut out the stupid birthday sequence, it would have helped the film tremendously.

I've been following this thread closely. Does anyone know if Mandarin will be the enemy?

I was under the impression that it's the mobster from Sexy Beast. Is that not correct? Maybe it's MODOK!

Just as long as Kenneth Branagh shows up as Thor, I'll be fine.

I heard a rumor that Iron Man was going to be in this. Is that right?

Yeah, he was great. So was Heath Ledger as Killer Croc. Why didn't they bring him back for TDKR?

Link to Concept Art of another type of Armor that may appear. (Sorry if it was posted already. I'm too lazy to go back in this thread)

Spoiler:
Hulkbuster Armor. I like it. There's something primitive about it. There's also a shot of Space Armor

Re: Iron Man 3 (Disney/Paramount 2013) - News, Rumors, Etc.

It's taken down.

EDIT: Found it.

Spoiler:

The first armor seems pretty appropriate for the way to go if it were ever used. I like it.

The 2nd one I'm iffy on. I get where they are going w/ it but I'm not digging the look for the neck and the head. If it were used I would really like them to use the more modern take of it.

I agree.
Spoiler:
The way the head and neck stick out make them look like easy targets for the Hulk to smash.

Re: Iron Man 3 (Disney/Paramount 2013) - News, Rumors, Etc.

That's why I really like this design of the armor.

Protects the head and whatnot. Massive but more reasonable for someone like Stark to use.

Talking about the design...w/ this design was this still using Stark in his regular IM armor within the HB unit or just Stark in it? This later design I'm rather unknown on how he got into it.

I can do w/o the sunglasses cuz it gives off a funny look to me but otherwise...I'm game. I see he has military pants there too.

Yeah, I like this better. Although i'd be surprised to see any of this used in Iron Man 3. I'd love to see an easter egg where you see it being worked on in the background or something though.
