I actually enjoyed those Family Circus books/comics when I was young.

That being said, this has to be one of the worst ideas ever.

wow, so at least in the paper i can skip that 2 seconds of my life lost daily, but I will have to watch a 2 minute trailer before movies? That's like 2 months worth of wasted reading of the strip. Kill me now.

Seriously, while still not the best idea, why can't we bet a calvin and hobbes movie instead. Even a live action one wouldn't be as bad an idea as this. Hey, it wouldn't be as bad as garfield right?

There's going to be one of Billy's dotted lines leading out of the theater.

I hope there's a scene where one of the kids says "It's raining cats and dogs and I stepped in a poodle!"

And the dad drinks.

If it's modelled after the comic strip, then I guess the movie will be a drama.

Finally.

If I can drag my wife to Snakes On a Plane for the opening midnight show and pay $20 for something we know will be bad, I can do the same for this.

This'll only work if it's the Dysfunctional Family Circus or the Nietzsche Family Circus. Too bad Bill Keane doesn't have the sense of humor of Jim Davis.
