I believe it was Antz. I was able to take my wife to a Woody Allen film under the guise of just taking her to an animated film. She never would have agreed to watch a regular Woody Allen film.

Since then, she's broadened her tastes and I don't have to watch too many chick flicks.

First Wife: Top Gun. We were both in Air Force Technical school and the audience was 90% military. Awesome crowd participation on that one.

Second Wife: Titanic. I didn't know at the time she was/is way too hyperactive to sit that long to watch a movie. But it all worked out in the end.

First movie we saw in a theater was a critics screening (long before I wrote about movies) for The Exorcist (The Version You've Never Seen) in 2000.

I don't remember enough to question it's technical merits. All I remember is it was like throwing raw meat to wolves. First the Bombing of Libya in April and then Top Gun in May. Heady times for an impressionable Airman First Class.

Hotel Rwanda, just as friends, with a big group.

Then later that year Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. Been married, for 1 1/2 years.

The Crow, at the Mission Theater and pub. Nothing like beer and a supernatural revenge flick to start off a life together. the next few were a rerelease of Alien, True Romance, Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. Only after we were together for a while did she reveal she didn't really like those kinds of movies.:grumble:

False advertising!

My wife and I watched Rosemary's Baby at a mutual friend's house on our first date. It was a week before our senior prom. The first film we saw in the theater together was Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Last film we watched together - Letters to Juliet

Buncha whippersnappers around here!

The first movie we saw together was either Logan's Run or Murder by Death, but the movie that we get the biggest laugh telling people about was the one we saw the night before our wedding - The Omen.

This might be an unique entry. Assembly in Shanghai. English subs. Really impressed me. Some of the battle scenes were on par with something like Saving Private Ryan. I need to get the Blu-ray.
