Weekend Box Office (9/17-9/19): Daredevil over the Devil

Re: Weekend Box Office (9/17-9/19): Daredevil over the Devil
Sony had a great Summer and they're off to a good start for Fall. "Easy A" has a production budget of $8 mil. That's going to be another profitable 2010 film for the studio. Regardless of what anyone thinks of the quality, in terms of dollars, they have made some great production choices. Universal needs to steal someone from there.

Man, it's great to know that How To Train Your Dragon did that much overall. What a great film.

Good for Easy A and Emma Stone. I really wouldn't call her a household name and she's the big name in that movie. Sure, it's gotten good reviews and probably good word of mouth, but carrying a film that appeared to be something that could easily have been overlooked is very impressive and I simply find her to be delightful on screen.
Always like to see "good" people rewarded. Already looking forward to owning the blu ray.
