Best Judd Apatow Film (since 2007)
Considering Get Him To The Greek comes out on DVD on September 28th, what does everyone consider to be Judd Apatow's best film since 2007 (the year he start developing a serious cult following in my opinion)? The poll applies to anything he's written/directed/produced...

Seems like a weird date to start with. Forgetting Sarah Marshall for me too.

Superbad slightly over FSM.

Re: Best Judd Apatow Film (since 2007)
Funny People. Aside from some of the scenes with Sandler and Mann, I absolutely loved the film.

Superbad for me, although I have come to dislike almost every actor in it.

GREEK! i think his films keep getting better

Re: Best Judd Apatow Film (since 2007)
From the above options, I'll go with Forgetting Sarah Marshall, although I haven't seen Get Him to The Greek, yet.

/\ Yeah, I'm looking forward to it, just haven't been able to get out to the theatre much the past few months :(. I'll probably grab it from Redbox when it becomes available.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Re: Best Judd Apatow Film (since 2007)
Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I was disappointed with both The Pineapple Express and Funny People.

Re: Best Judd Apatow Film (since 2007)
Superbad is terminally unfunny. :(
It was a toss-up between Knocked Up and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but I went with KU in the end. I enjoy a large cast of schmoes. |

Pineapple Express, by a fucking landslide! It's not even in the same league as the rest, which are inconsequential little films by comparison. It's the only movie in the bunch directed by a real director with vision. It's really just a brilliant fucking movie, with a fantastic performance from Franco along with great bit parts from Danny McBride, Gary Cole and a bunch of others.
It's like the American Hot Fuzz, and I'd seriously say it's almost just as good as HF. And Forgetting Sarah Marshall was a boring piece of shit. |

Re: Best Judd Apatow Film (since 2007)
I would've started the poll with The 40-Year Old Virgin and would have voted for that. Of the choices, Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
