Sorry can't find a screen cap but the scene in Armageddon where Harry and Grace are saying goodbye. Gets me every time!

Really? I remember both laughing out loud and groaning at the same time. A thumbs up, really? That ranks right up there as one of the dumbest moments in movie history.

...dunno how old you were at that time but I was around 4 or 5. My bday's the 8th of July..T2 came out the 3rd..so...I dunno. Anyway...growing up watching Arnold films...yeah...he was my favorite action hero. He wasn't supposed to die in my eyes. He was Arnold..he could survive anything and to see him do that at that age...yeah...confusing and a sad moment.

Here's my favorite goodbye (though it doesn't really fit the OP's needs):

Yup, pretty much.

I second the mention of Winger in Terms of Endearment, although the scene that always gets me is Shirley MacLaine going apeshit on the nurse for being late with the medication.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Jerry Maguire ... "Who's coming with me?"

I haven't seen it in a long time but considering that John Connor was something like 13 and the terminator had connected as his friend I guess it makes sense in that way.

Terminator 2 has one of the richest, most soulful endings ever filmed. I honestly feel sorry for anyone who isn't touched by that ending.

...what? I dunno about that....

I cried in 1991 cuz it's Arnold my action hero dying. I was 4 or 5. Today? I get a bit nostalgic emotionally but I don't fucking cry like I did back in '91. Just a bit sad cuz of the memory it brings..hilariously so.

You saw Terminator 2 in theaters? I thought you were like 20

edit, saw your previous post...what were you doing seeing terminator 2 at 4 or 5? More importantly, at that age, how do you even remember or understand what's happening on screen?

Wow, when's your birthday? You're the same age as these performers who all turned 24 on their recent birthdays:

Amanda Bynes April 3
Robert Pattinson May 13
Megan Fox May 16
Shia LaBeouf June 11
Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen June 13
Lindsay Lohan July 2
