"Mad Chemistry." Is that a sequel to WEIRD SCIENCE?

Brooke Adams in DAYS OF HEAVEN. I wish I could watch this movie over and over, but I can't because Im distracted from Adams. I find her incredibly annoying and unattractive (she looks fine in that photo below, but not in action).

Brandon Routh and Kate Bosworth were sorely miscast for SUPERMAN RETURNS.

First of all, Routh is still too skinny and young.

Bosworth doesn't have any spunk as Lois Lane.

Also, I can't enjoy any movies with Penelope Cruz in them. I just can't watch or listen to her. She's in good movies, but I can't enjoy them because of her.

Plus, don't most people feel he MADE that movie? And no, I don't mean producing or directing.

I'll echo with a "but that was the point" comment.

I had the feeling that Dane's and Juliette's characters were a mismatched pair from the first minute. That's why I didn't get mad at Steve essentially stole her from him and explains how easily he rebounded when their relationship was discovered.

Yeah Maggie isn't the most attractive woman alive. Funny thing is I have an acquaintance who looks like her...she's black though and it was quite hilarious when gmal2003 brought the similarity to my attention.

That being said, the was above and beyond better than Katie Holmes in The Dark Knight. Mrs. Cruise couldn't even act well enough to kiss Christian Bale appropriately. He's a douche in real life sure, but come on dude is fine and it is called...acting.

Rachel McAdams in Sherlock Holmes. I don't know if it was just the part in general...but when she was on screen the movie seemed to drag for me. I still found the movie entertaining though...

And wow...Maggie G isn't hot by any means...but she's not hideous. As someone said earlier...she's adorable in "Stranger than Fiction"...and I'm not even into the crazy-lib-hippy-chick vibe she gave off during the film...but I loved her in that film.

John Hamm as Superman / Clark Kent. Brandon Routh looks and sounds like Reeve, but can't ACT

Routh was indeed too slight for the role at the time of filming. Could he have bulked up? Absolutely. Christopher Reeve was a freakin' stringbean when he was cast.

And it would have helped if they let Superman, oh I don't know, TALK once in awhile...

As mentioned by others, this is a pretty popular sentiment. Her performance is pretty awful.

The one that stands out to me is actually not a movie, it's:

(David Schwimmer in Band of Brothers)

I almost didn't watch the entire series because it was just so wrong to have Ross as a sadistic drill sarge. Only after a few episodes aired and the buzz started to roll in did I watch it. Thank God they ditched the Sobel character early on.
he didn't do bad
and like many of the actors he had a decent resemblance to the real Sobel

I would also add Mickey Rooney in Breakfast at Tiffany's. He was so over the top and cartoonish that it seemed like he was acting in a different movie.

Schwimmer as Sobel was excellent. As you mentioned, it's people's preconceived perception of him as Ross Gellar that impedes your acceptance of a good performance, and not his actual performance.

My problem with Band of Brothers wasn't Schwimmer. It was this guy:

See it anyway. Fallon's only got 10 seconds worth of screentime and approximately two lines.

But, yeah, his appearance was a tad jarring.

Yep. He spends 2 seconds saying his lines, and the rest of the time cracking up at what he just said.
