I had the advantage of never seeing a single episode of Friends. And had no preconceived notions on David Schwimmer playing Sobel.

Yeah but isn't that exactly the point of her character?
The one that stands out to me is actually not a movie, it's:
(David Schwimmer in Band of Brothers)
I almost didn't watch the entire series because it was just so wrong to have Ross as a sadistic drill sarge. Only after a few episodes aired and the buzz started to roll in did I watch it. Thank God they ditched the Sobel character early on.

Peter Jackson's King Kong had other problems, but Adrien Brody really ruins the movie for me. Jack Black was miscast, too.

Brody was fine IMO. But the two things that ruined Jackson's "Kong" for me were the eterna island native scenes. Felt kind of like the rave sequence in "The Matrix II". And Jack Black. One of the worst miscasts ever. WHAT were they thinking!???

I'm not reading all 4 pages, but these are the ones that stick out to me...
- Cameron Diaz (always sucks) and Leo (because he wasn't right for the part) in Gangs of New York. DDL's role is just enough to give the film any level of repeat viewing ability.
- the cast of Godzilla 1998, except for Jean Reno and Harry Shearer.
- just about the entire cast of "Death Proof", aside from Kurt Russell.
- Hannibal - Julianne Moore. I think I would have enjoyed the film more had Foster returned.
- Phantasm II - Now, I still love the film, but I think it sucks a big one that LeGros replaced Baldwin in one of the series' most pivotal roles.

I suppose intelligence, character, personality, conviction, humor, empathy, etc. don't mean a thing. And what the hell does having sex with someone, have to do with attractiveness? Most people have done it with nasty woman, they just want to get off and have no other option. I'd argue if a supposedly straight man refuses sex with any woman they're a little gay or asexual (and I'm talking about your every day woman, not some contagious diseased woman).
And I'll agree with Liv Tyler as Arwen, her delivery was awful and any time she spoke Elvish I never got the impression she could even fake like she knew what she was saying. Her acting was bad.
